An Indonesian electoral monitoring app
Aimed at Indonesians, Siwaslu 2024 is a free election monitoring tool by Bawaslu RI — or the General Election Supervisory Agency in English — that supports the manual reporting of electoral monitoring forms. To access the app, users must enter their username or mobile number and password.
Upload photos and view profile information
In Siwaslyu 2024, the user will have access to various electoral monitoring forms, including Form A.1, Form A.2, and the like. Whether the individual uploads an image via their camera or gallery, a notification message will appear on-screen — confirming that the uploaded photos have been sent.
Indonesians will also view their sent form history and access their polling station number and other personal information. On top of the black screens that occur when logging out, some users were asked to update the program despite recently updating it to the latest version.
The need to smooth out technical issues
All in all, Siwaslu 2024 promises a hassle-free reporting experience for Indonesians, enabling them to complete any monitoring form of their choosing with just a few taps. However, the technical issues are bothersome and thus need to be addressed by the developer.
